If you're just dayhiking, stop here for lunch.  If you're heading to Williwaw, be careful of the scree going down.

Chances of seeing these guys on the trail are high.  They love the rocky scrub of the terrain up here.  They are very curious and will spend a long time checking you out.  FYI-They hibernate 6 months out of the year.

You can see how much this lake has sunk by the deep ridge line to its banks.

At the top is the bowl containing Deep Lake

Just starting to melt and show it's blue marble color.

Take the north side coming back for a completely different  perspective as well as views of Wolverine and Williwaw Valley
