The best spots are at the top but there may be snow if you go early in the season. There are five sites that have great views of the Turnagain Arm.  Come early to claim yours. Lots of flat rocks here make it a great place to hang out, eat and watch eagles.

You'll get this great view about midway on the trail.

The change in tides on the Arm is the second fastest in the world. The time between this and the picture on the main page was less than 30 minutes.

Many people want to set up camp on the west side for obvious reasons.

Most of the trees are dead due to a scourge of spruce bark beetle in the Kenai region.

There are some great campsites near the edge of the cliff on the lower level but be prepared for some stiff winds coming off the Arm.
