This picture is looking down after passing the first fake summit. The trail is easy to follow the whole way. The patch of trees you see below is the last patch before the trail becomes completely tundra.

Matanuska peak is the main spectacle on the trail to Lazy mountain. Here is a zoomed-in, close-up of the peak from a little more then halfway up.

This is the last section of the trail; the main peak is just beyond the crest you see here.
